Characters:
The Old Man Muffin Jar- Bad things happen to good people, and sometimes turn good people into charlatans. The Old Man Muffin jar is not completely lost, but he stopped asking for directions a long time ago. The Ghost in the Wind is trying to buy him a map. He is scared of death, and therefore can not enjoy his life.
The Ghost in the Wind- She is death. This does not make her the Grim Reaper; her job is more intense than that. Her assignment is The Old Man Muffin Jar. He knows she is there, but he does not see her true form. She is trying to redeem him, but he views her as a curse, a hollow reminder of every thing he has lost. She has vowed to teach him that life and death are equal partners, and spirit is the glue that binds it all together.
The Tin Can- The Tin Can represents the unattainable object we think we need to enjoy our lives. It could be money, cars, a person or anything that can make us obsess. Once the can is obtained, the reality becomes clear that there is more joy in the chase.
The Mixtape Man- He is the gift giver. Weary people think he is creepy, but he just wants a smile once in a while, and means no real harm. He likes old things, so naturally he is drawn to the Old Man Muffin Jar.
The Shadow Drone- He is the voice in our head that always casts doubt over every decision we make. He finds the weakness in your heart and exploits it until you are doing his will. Some people call him the devil, but that is too one dimensional of a name for something so complicated. He only wants your soul and your time, he just can’t help himself. He is us.
The Mystery Bug- The spirit of being small and in the moment, the Mystery Bug makes her own future by not trying to make her future her own. She just is, and will always be. Some say that she is God, but she would never brag like that.
